Nokia ohranja vodilni dobaviteljski položaj na indijskem trgu optičnih omrežij

Feb 25, 2022

Nokia continues to maintain its leadership position in the Indian optical networking market for the four rolling quarters from Q4 2020 to Q3 2021, says a study. Nokia's broad optical product portfolio, designed to address the unique issues faced by service providers and enterprises in India, is a key reason for its continued market leadership.

"Nokia's fibre solutions have been implemented in metro and national long-haul networks across India, ensuring the fastest network recovery even in the event of multiple fibre cuts, thereby helping Indian service providers to address multiple fibre cuts simultaneously," the study notes. As data consumption continues to grow, Indian service providers are constantly looking for ways to increase network capacity.

"Its fifth-generation Photonic Service Engine (PSE-V) supports the transmission of 400G wavelengths over most routes and up to 600G wavelengths over metro and regional spans, thereby increasing network capacity while ensuring the lowest cost per bit to help operators cost-effectively deliver huge network capacity." Nokia's PSE-V Series and C plus L platforms will further help Indian operators to increase the capacity, coverage and efficiency of their optical networks.
